I decided to create a new blog for the more in-depth conversations regarding CPS and the issues that it raises that I would occasionally like to write for Legally Kidnapped or my other blogs, because after 11 years, LK has simply become too big to balance anything original or educational with the links to the news articles I post every day. My own original work, which I do try to make educational or valuable for the reader, gets lost in the mix and an hour or two of my own writing gets buried and forgotten. This has discouraged me from doing original work.
I wanted to create a space for my own thoughts and to share what I've learned about this complex issue after blogging about it for so many years. I don't want to limit myself by telling you what to expect either. I will simply address the issues as they come up and as I am inspired to do so. What I can promise you is that this will be all original work with only the links to support arguments or for case studies or stuff like that. I might discuss a case or a news story. I might write an article. We will just have to see what happens.
As for Legally Kidnapped, it is what it is. It will continue bringing you the latest headlines as CPS continues to provide them to me. I considered replacing that with a new one, but decided to do this instead.
